With a game as dynamic and interactive as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it’s always been a mystery how the game doesn’t allow players to perform certain actions right away. However, since games are prone to have bugs and glitches, they can often prove to provide a certain degree of creativity to the game. An example of this includes how recently some players discovered a way to access the swimming pools and spend some quality time with Animal Crossing’s sweet summertime vibes, along with exploiting several other bugs and glitches as well.

The Swimming-Pool Glitch

Even if you’ve never been much of a swimmer, this glitch can somehow prove useful for not only accessing your swimming pool but several other locations too. Considering how Nintendo tends to maintain a high degree of refinement to its games, now would be the right time to experience the glitch and use it as extensively before it gets patched. Several guides can be accessed all over the internet, including a fair amount of videos on YouTube. But, do note that players can certainly drown in the swimming pool. Therefore, even if it is a game, do practice caution!

Secret Waterfall Entrance

Around summertime last year, players took full advantage of this glitch and created secret entrances for their islands. The glitch enabled players to craft hidden rooms and other locations, accessible only by jumping over the set waterfalls. However, following the next update, the development team managed to patch the game, having dealt with the glitch once and for all. But, nevertheless, players do wish to see this glitch become a feature instead.

House Exterior Glitch

Not too long after the game’s launch, countless players across the globe experienced noticing an unusual trend of NPCs having the wrong set of house exteriors for their houses. And the only workaround back then included the removal of the certain villager. Although the issue has been patched over and over again, players continue to report rare occasions of it reoccurring.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has had numerous instances of duplication glitches. However, ever since the mail-box duplication glitch was made exploitable, players proceeded to do it through the co-op mode as well. Furthermore, since this glitch turned out to be rather game-breaking, the development team worked quite swiftly and dealt with the issue as soon as they could.

Zen Bridge Glitch

Not too long ago, players had to suffer from certain Zen bridge glitches that often prevented the players from crossing across it. While getting onto the bridge would be an easy enough task, players would mainly end up getting stuck near the center of the Zen bridge.

Nevertheless, though many players may consider glitches to be rather annoying and frustrating, they can sometimes lead on to becoming possible features for the game or provide a momentary instance of entertainment. Therefore, as intriguing as these glitches can be, we look forward to exploiting Animal Crossing even more, trying to unveil even more of what the game has to offer.
